In Auckland on October 30th, Rachel Copp, VFX Producer at Rising Sun Pictures and Mike Glasswell, Animation Supervisor from Mukpuddy will share their insights and experiences in crafting memorable animated characters, from Emmy-nominated Miss Minutes in Loki Season 2 to the playful world of Bad Jelly. Learn about their creative processes, workflows, and the animation techniques that power some of today’s most iconic characters. This event is perfect for aspiring animators, VFX artists, and animation enthusiasts looking to deepen their understanding of character design and animation.

Our guest speakers:

Rachel Copp is a seasoned VFX Producer with over 16 years in the industry, working across film, TV, and games. Joining Rising Sun Pictures in 2022, her leadership, attention to detail, and communication skills make her an invaluable asset. She is also co-chair of the VES New Zealand division.

Mike Glasswell, a professional animator and illustrator since 2006, has spent 7 years as an animation supervisor at Mukpuddy, including on the acclaimed series Badjelly. He has worked on TV shows, advertisements, and children's books, bringing his eccentric attitude, focus, and creativity to every project he tackles.
