Visual Effects Professional Guild is proud to announce that the Media Design School has come on board as a Foundational Sponsor. We are excited to host a sponsorship launch event with MDS to celebrate our special relationship. We welcome staff, students and local industry to join us for the event on Media Designs School’s campus.
MDS’s industry centred approach to teaching and learning align with the objectives and ethos of the VFX Guild and will enhance the school’s exposure to industry and industry’s exposure to students and graduates. We look forward to providing a platform for VFX professionals to connect and collaborate together as well as with staff and students.
We have assembled these speakers for the event:
Lance Lones is a 20 year veteran of the VFX industry. He has built visual effects software tools and technologies for films such as “Lord of the Rings”, “King Kong”, and “Avatar.”
Rhys Dippie is a VFX artist who has worked on film, TV and commercials for the past 20 years. He enjoys a mix of jobs from comp to 3D to development. He recently worked on Blumhouse’s M3gan.
